BRIEF ROLE DESCRIPTION:
To contribute to the process of refining and enhancing, on an ongoing basis, the current and future sales and
marketing strategy. Manage and support a high-performance team that delivers and executes the company’s sales,
marketing, brand and communications (both internal and external) functions.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):
1 Manage a team of sales specialists who actively search, pursue and engage potential clients within the Cleaning Services, Technical Services
and Bundled Services across all key sectors/verticals.
2 Manage the compilation and, where necessary, draft high-quality proposals, bids and tender responses
3 Development of sales budgets in accordance with marketing and sales strategy.
4 Accountability in the achievement of sales budgets.
5 Implement and manage strategic initiatives to ensure that annual growth targets are met and ideally exceeded to increase the company’s market share.
6 Planning, developing and implementing an effective marketing, brand and communication strategy and the subsequent campaigns.
7 Re-appraisal and standardizing of existing and new contract costs and margins.
8 Manage the quality and standards of copy and branding for all marketing collateral, bids and proposal documents, presentations, and external and internal communications in all media formats, including brochures, letters, emails, websites and social media in collaboration with the Marketing Department.
9 Recommend creative, unique and effective selling techniques based on researched market analysis.
10 Manage and monitor ongoing spending against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.
11 Monitoring of and reaction to statistics and surveys
12 Upholding of good business ethics and Image portrayal.
13 Identifying new growth opportunities by market segments.
14 Provide a comprehensive sales and marketing report on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Tertiary Education
Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Sales/Business Development/Marketing
Experience
Min 10 Years’ Solid Experience in Business Development, Market Trends & Best Practices within the Marketing/Sales Environment
