BRIEF ROLE DESCRIPTION:

To control variances highlighted by the Time & Attendance system, to ultimately reduce wage costs year on year.
To highlight through analysis via weekly and monthly reporting any variances, anomalies and non-compliance that
require corrective action.
Ensure rostering and timekeeping is in line of regulating bodies and Labour laws.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPAs):

Good understanding of Time & Attendance Management
 Updating Cost Centres (Buildings)
 Granting access to users
 Link reporting hierarchy and reporting to Heads of departments.
 Shift planning to be in line of approved costing.
 Linking of employees to shifts rosters.
 Arranging installation of clocking devices
 Ensure measurement reports tracking progress on new contract.
 Track and arrange clocking device to be removed for cancelled clients and return to relevant regions/ warehoused for re-use.

 

Excellent Stakeholder engagement skills
 Liaise with Heads of departments on status of exceptions and resolve queries.
 Liaise with Wage administrators on approved hours.
 Liaise with Payroll Head office and manage extraction of hours for payroll importing.

 

Ability to Report and analyze Data
 Ensure measurement reports tracking progress on cost centres.
 Measurement of exception reports and status on roster planning.
 Ensure shift patterns are in line with approved costed hours.
 Measurement and analysis of clocking of hours and analyse variances.
 Manage operational dashboard.
 Strong Business analysis reporting an essential requirement.
 Headcount analysis to manage workforce hours.

 

Ability to upskill and train users
 On-going training to Managers and Wage administrators
 Meet with Application supplier to improve systems, communication, and compliance.

 

Management
 Stock management of phones issued to employees.
 Drive Time & Attendance automation projects
 Strong procedure driven & adhere to company policies.
 Drive Labour & regulation compliance
 Effective communication skills
 Implementation and upgrade of existing system and controls
 Manage Wage cost by ensuring clockings are in line with approved costings.

 

Tertiary Education

National Diploma / Degree in Finance / Financial Accounting
